By Zachary Neel, Ducks Wire: Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are reportedly set to make a coaching hire on the defensive side of the ball a couple of weeks before spring football gets underway in Eugene.
According to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz, the Ducks are set to hire former Las Vegas Raiders assistant coach Rip Rowan, who will work with the defensive staff in Eugene. Before working with the Raiders, Rowan served as the defensive line coach for the Washington Huskies and the Georgia Southern Eagles.
