National Signing Day this week effectively put a bow on the 2025 college football recruiting class. Texas led all schools with five five-star signees, while Georgia ranked second with four. The Longhorns’ elite signees helped the program join an exclusive club of five programs to sign 15 or more five-star prospects since 2020. Using the 247Sports Composite, we identified the 10 programs with the most five-star signees at the decade’s halfway point.
Texas signed the No. 1 recruiting class in the 247Sports Composite rankings for the first time in more than 20 years. It’s just the second time since 2010 that a team not named Alabama or Georgia finished the cycle atop the team rankings (Texas A&M, 2022).
