Oregon Ducks in the mix for USC transfer DL Devan Thompkins, per report

By Bjorn Bergstrom, Ducks Wire: Under head coach Dan Lanning, the Oregon Ducks have quietly become one of the top transfer destinations in the country, with a number of transfers ranging from safety Dillon Thieneman, running back Noah Whittington, defensive tackle Bear Alexander and wide receiver Malik Benson, among others, having success and elevating themselves once they’ve gotten immersed in the program.

And while the Ducks are in the midst of prepping for their College Football Playoff first-round matchup against the James Madison Dukes, transfer portal season is already underway — meaning soon-to-be portal entrees (the transfer portal officially opens on Jan. 2) are already poking around as to what school they’ll land at.
