By Bjorn Bergstrom, Ducks Wire: One day after receiving news that former Kentucky combo guard Jasper Johnson decided to commit to the Oregon Ducks, Dana Altman and his staff are set to host San Jose State transfer point guard Colby Garland on Sunday in their continued search to find their next point guard. Sam Kayser first reported the news.
Garland had a strong 2025-26 campaign with the Spartans, leading the team in points (20.3), assists (4.6) and steals (1.1) on his way to being named to the Mountain West Conference Third Team. He scored 42 points and dished out 10 assists combined in two MWC tournament games.
