By Erik Skopil, Duck Territory: Oregon tight ends coach and co-offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer will be a name to know in the school’s offensive coordinator search. Mehringer is the most likely internal candidate to be promoted, according to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz.
“Keep an eye on Drew Mehringer as a possibility for the Oregon offensive coordinator job, sources tell CBS sports,” he posted on X on Wednesday morning. “Mehringer, Oregon’s co-OC and tight ends coach, is highly thought of internally and has helped Oregon rank top 10 nationally in scoring three of the last four years.”
