By Erik Skopil, Duck Territory: None of this is new for Rob Mullens. This isn’t the first time he’s been required to field questions about the football program’s future from the same chair inside the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex as he was regrettably forced to do again on Monday morning.
Now in his 11th year as the University of Oregon’s athletic director, Mullens has overseen three football coaching searches already, and ultimately the hirings of Mark Helfrich (2013), Willie Taggart (2017) and Mario Cristobal (2018).
