247Sports: Ohio State junior quarterback Justin Fields launched a campaign Sunday that requests for the Big Ten to reinstate its fall 2020 college football season. It included the following message from Fields, who took to Twitter and said in a tweet, “This cause is close to my heart.”
Fields directed the petition at Big Ten commissioner Kevin Warren, conference university presidents and athletic directors. Fields shared the campaign on social media, quickly circulating and garnering thousands of signatures.
