By Jason Scheer, Wildcat Authority: Leaving Oakland wasn’t inevitable for Trey Townsend, but once he got an extra year due to Covid, he knew that he would end his career elsewhere.
“I wanted to graduate from Oakland to get my degree from there,” Townsend said. “Both my parents played there and my dad played for Greg Kampe, so I always wanted to have that moment.
