By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Saturday was by and large the final exam for John Mateer and Zevi Eckhaus to determine who will be the starting quarterback for Washington State. Jake Dickert said previously he would have to look at the tape of Saturday’s scrimmage to help make the final call but overall, he was not thrilled with the Cougar offense after the final fall camp scrimmage.
“As an offense in general, probably not our best night,” Dickert said.
