By Jackson Moore, Bear Territory: The California Golden Bears have offered more than 20 recruits in the 2023 class and seven of them are Northern California priorities for Cal. One recent offer went to Folsom (Calif.) High School two-way recruit Rico Flores – the former teammate of Cal freshman Kaleb Higgins.
Flores has already earned a four-star rating and a spot in 247Sports’ Top247 rankings. He holds nine offers, including six from the Pac-12. When the Golden Bears offered, it was an opportunity he had thought about for many years prior.
