CougFan: Washington State sophomore Noah Williams said he’s never played 54 minutes in a game before Saturday. Nobody at Washington State ever had either, according to WSU SID. The 6-5 sophomore out of Seattle put his extended time on the Beasley court to good use, scoring 40 points in WSU’s 85-76 roller-coaster triple overtime win over Stanford in Pullman.
Williams also said he had a chip on his shoulder when it came to Stanford. Before Saturday, Williams was 0-3 against the Cardinal since joining the Cougs, and WSU had lost its last nine to Stanford.
