CougFan.com: Washington State’s Nick Rolovich told KJR-AM radio Tuesday that the decision has effectively been made on the starting quarterback for the opener at Oregon State. The first-year Cougar head coach told KJR’s Jason Puckett “(the QB) knows that they might be taking the first snap,” but Rolovich didn’t rule out playing the backup if the starter struggles.
After Saturday’s scrimmage, the timeline of naming a starter began to shrink, and now seems complete between Jayden de Laura, Cammon Cooper and Gunner Cruz.
