By Jackson Moore, BarkBoard: The Fresno State softball program began a new era on Wednesday, introducing Charlotte Morgan as the team’s new head coach. She becomes the sixth leader for a program that has been to 34 NCAA Tournaments and claimed the 1998 national championship.
Fresno State Director of Athletics Garrett Klassy presented his hire in a press conference on campus. In the last seven months, Klassy has hired a new football coach (Matt Entz), a new women’s basketball coach (Ryan McCarthy), and now Morgan for softball.
