By Jackson Moore, BarkBoard: Fresno State brought in an under-the-radar recruit to the roster this offseason, and he comes from a historic family of former Bulldogs. New addition Jalen Ray Harris is from the same family tree as the famed Carl Ray Harris name.
Among Jalen’s relatives are: grandfather Carl Ray Harris Sr., uncle Carl Ray Harris Jr., and uncle Lee Harris. Carl Ray Harris Sr. was a defensive back for the Bulldogs. He picked off 14 passes in the 1970 season, a record that still stands to this day. No Bulldog has had more than nine interceptions in a season still in school history.
