World was a coveted player in the NCAA transfer portal this cycle, and the Ducks ultimately beat out Texas A&M and Nebraska for his services. The 6-foot-8, 320-pounder has been a top portaler at his position since he decided to transfer away from Nevada earlier this month.
A product of the 2021 recruiting class, World was a three-star recruit per the On3 Industry rankings, which is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services. He was the No. 143 offensive tackle in his cycle and the No. 1,578 player overall.
