Nevada football coach Jeff Choate energized on first day of spring camp

By Chris Murray, Nevada Sports Net: Nevada football coach Jeff Choate has admitted in the past he’s not the biggest fan of spring camp. But this year’s spring sessions, which began Monday at Mackay Stadium, brought some fresh excitement, even for the veteran head coach.

“My job is not to be the cheerleader out there,” Choate said. “I’ve gotta run practice and do those types of things and be demanding. But I am excited.
