NDSU to reportedly pay $17M for football team to join Mountain West in 2026

By Chris Cwik, Yahoo Sports: North Dakota State University football is heading to the Mountain West in 2026. The school will reportedly shell out roughly $17 million in total to move to a new conference next season, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

The move, which is expected to be announced Monday, will move NDSU out of the Missouri Valley Conference, where the team has played since 2008.
