By Austin Nivison, 247Sports: On Wednesday, the NCAA Division I Board of Directors ratified the new one-time transfer rule. In addition to officially implementing the new transfer policy, the NCAA also revealed some parameters for athletes looking to move to a new program and play immediately.
NCAA Division I athletes in all sports can now transfer one time and be immediately eligible at their new school. However, there is a timeline for any athletes who want to play for their new program in the 2021-22 season.
