By Mountain West Conference: The Old Trapper Mountain West Football Players of the Week have been announced for Week 1. UNLV junior quarterback Anthony Colandrea has been tabbed the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week and teammate senior defensive back Aamaris Brown was named MW Defensive Player of the Week.
Utah State junior placekicker Tanner Rinker earned MW Special Teams Player of the Week honors and Colorado State running back Jalen Dupree is the MW Freshman of the Week.
