By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: UCLA basketball took out USC for the second time in a week Friday night, moving past the Trojans, 69-59, in the semifinals of the Pac-12 Conference Tournament behind balanced scoring and excellent team defense down the stretch. UCLA coach Mick Cronin said after the game that USC deserves a higher seed than the Trojans’ projection in the NCAA Tournament after finishing 26-7 this season.
