Michigan three-star quarterback Alex Orji transfers to UNLV

By Cydney Henderson, USA TODAY: Former Michigan Wolverines quarterback Alex Orji is transferring.

Orji, 21, has committed to UNLV for his senior season, the Rebels announced on social media Saturday, writing, “It’s official. Welcome to Las Vegas.” Orji will have two seasons of eligibility left.

“It felt like a great opportunity to go out to Vegas with Coach (Dan) Mullen and Coach (Corey) Dennis,” Orji told ESPN. “It’s an opportunity to cultivate winning culture.”
