By Cody Nagel, 247Sports: Michigan State fired football coach Mel Tucker for cause Wednesday, the school announced. The decision comes one week after the university notified Tucker it intended to fire him amid a sexual harassment claim.
Tucker was given a seven-day window to respond after receiving a notice from the university of its plans, and said through his lawyers the school lacks justification for ending his employment.
