Michael Penix Jr. named honorary coach for Washington football spring game

By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: As part of Jedd Fisch’s plans to increase the attention around the Washington Huskies‘ annual spring game, he anointed honorary head coaches to each team. On Wednesday, the team announced that one of the best quarterbacks in school history, Michael Penix Jr., will be the honorary head coach of the purple team.

Over two years on Montlake, he rewrote the school record books.
