By Brent Schrotenboer, USA Today via Yahoo Sports: For the second time since April 2025, Mercedes-Benz has accused Shilo Sanders of not keeping up with payments on his $135,000 car and has asked a federal bankruptcy court to allow the company to repossess it.
The financial services arm of Mercedes-Benz made the request June 2, claiming the son of Colorado football coach Deion Sanders is in default of his monthly payments by $9,170, which includes past due amounts from February through May of 2026.
This is for the same car that led to a similar claim by Mercedes-Benz in April 2025, which was resolved through payment without the car being repossessed, according to court records obtained by USA TODAY Sports.
