Pac-12

The Pac-12 and commissioner George Kliavkoff are undoubtedly weighing expansion options as they pursue a new media rights deal.

UNLV has been one of the worst football programs in the country since the turn of the century, but there still may be reasons to believe they could be on the list of potential expansion teams.

On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, I put on my ‘lawyer hat’ to make the case for adding the Rebels to the league out of the Mountain West.

Would the Pac-12 really consider adding a team that’s struggled just to get over .500 on the football field in a G5 conference?

I came into bowl season with high hopes for the Pac-12, but after a 3-1 start the league finished under .500 at 3-4 with consecutive losses by UCLA, USC, and Utah.

This tells us something about the Pac-12 that—somewhat—we already knew, but which needs to change going forward.

Plus, I talk about Washington State hiring its new OC after Eric Morris left to be the HC at North Texas.
