Pac-12Although somewhat quiet on national signing day, the Pac-12 still has a promising (and competitive) future on the football side of things.

On the recruiting and retention fronts, NIL could be helping the league attract and keep the sort of talent it needs to compete nationally.

Is it all positive though?

On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, Spencer McLaughlin looks at the latest news from around the conference two days after National Signing Day with Richie Bradshaw of ‘Locked On Sun Devils’.

Though much of it is not known for sure, it’s reasonable to assume NIL is having a notable impact on the conference.

The slate of Pac-12 quarterbacks returning in 2023 is loaded with talent and experience.

NIL may be playing a factor in helping outstanding QBs like Michael Penix and Bo Nix return to college for another year rather than trying to make it (at this time) in the NFL
