Arizona State pulled the biggest upset of the weekend on Saturday, knocking off then-21st-ranked Washington 45-38 in Tempe.
The Huskies have been (and still are) the better team compared to the Sun Devils but were unable to leave the desert with a victory.
So how did Arizona State pull it off?
On today’s episode of Locked On Pac-12, I’m joined by ‘Locked On Sun Devils’ host Richie Bradshaw to talk about how ASU notched their second win of the season–and first in conference play.
The Huskies have some defensive concerns after allowing 40+ points in back-to-back weeks on the road, but the teamwide concerns should be relatively limited with regard to their remaining 2022 outlook.
Oregon State was able to accomplish what the Huskies couldn’t when they avoided (dramatically!!) an upset bid from the Stanford Cardinal, who continue to lose football games.
The momentum of just being in the win column, regardless of style points, could be crucial as they head into a showdown in Corvallis against Washington State this week.
