Matt Leinart has denied multiple USC requests to unretire his jersey number

By Nick Kosko, On3: Former USC quarterback Matt Leinart revealed he denied multiple requests to unretire his No. 11 jersey for current players and recruits. The Heisman Trophy winner took a hard stance about his number, saying it will practically never come out and be back on the field.

To be fair, Leinart did win national championships and a Heisman, playing with a loaded roster under Pete Carroll. He threw for 10,693 yards, 99 touchdowns, 23 interceptions and ran for another nine scores in his career.
