Matt Entz 'betting on himself' by joining USC coaching staff

By Connor Morrissette, USCFootball.com: North Dakota State head football coach Matt Entz made his first public comments since USC announced he will join the Trojans’ staff. Ertz said Monday he made the move in an effort to “bet on himself.”

“I have head coaching experience, but to be transparent, I’ve had some people tell me that I don’t have FBS recruiting experience and that I haven’t really dove into NIL,” Entz said.

Entz, the current head coach at North Dakota State, was hired at USC Saturday to coach linebackers. He's also been given the Assistant Head Coach for Defense title.
