247Sports: The clock is ticking on the College Football Playoff. While some choose to not look at the watch face and see time is starting to pass them by, hundreds of others in college athletics are realizing the end of the four-team playoff is near.
Count Notre Dame athletics director Jack Swarbrick, one of the strongest voices in the playoff discussion, among those changing their tune. He wants the playoff to expand, and for many schools it can’t come soon enough.
