LSU expected to have interest in a Demond Williams Jr. in transfer portal

By Wilson Alexander, Nola.com: LSU is expected to have interest in Washington quarterback Demond Williams Jr., who said Tuesday night in a social media post that he plans to enter the transfer portal, multiple sources told The Advocate.

Williams would be considered one of the top quarterbacks on the market after he threw for 3,065 yards with 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions as a sophomore this past season. He added another 611 yards and six touchdowns on the ground while earning All-Big Ten honorable mention recognition.

“I have to do what’s best for me and my future,” Williams wrote.
