By Justin Michael, thednvr.com: One of the top local basketball prospects committed to Colorado State over the weekend. Eric Fiedler, a 6-foot-7 forward out of Regis High School, announced that he will stay in the state and play collegiately for the Rams.
Listed as a three-star prospect, Fiedler is currently rated the No. 2 player in Colorado for the 2026 cycle on 247Sports. He’s a top 50 power forward in this cycle (N0. 45) and top 20 recruit in CSU men’s basketball history as well (No. 20).
Fiedler chose the Rams over Colorado, Loyola-Chicago and Stanford. He’s also been offered by New Mexico, Texas State and UC Santa Barbara, among others.
