Linebacker Kamar Mothudi becomes fourth Duck to follow Tosh Lupoi to Cal

By Bjorn Bergstrom, Ducks Wire: Yet another former Oregon Duck has committed to the California Golden Bears, following former Ducks defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi in the process. Linebacker Kamar Mothudi announced that he has committed to Cal via a post on his Instagram.

Mothudi is a Los Angeles native and was rated as a four-star and ranked as the No. 13 linebacker and No. 175 player overall in the 2024 recruiting class, per 247 Sports.

The 6-foot-3, 245-pounder spent two seasons in Eugene, totaling four tackles in 2025 with each of them coming in blowout victories against Montana State, Oklahoma State and Rutgers.
