By Shotgun Spratling, USCFootball.com: Lincoln Riley will have a new toy to play with when USC opens its fall camp Friday in preparation for the 2024 season. It’s not a freshman mismatch-waiting-to-happen offensive weapon or a trench tank defender coming in for their first action (though USC has those pieces taking to Howard Jones Field for the first time Friday).
It’s actually not a who but a what as the Trojans will be able to practice on their new full-length turf practice field that abuts the grass field at Howard Jones.
