By Connor Morrissette, USCFootball.com: Multiple USC football players were dealing with the effects of food poisoning during last week’s 34-32 road defeat to Illinois. Starting safety Kamari Ramsey was the only player to miss the game due to being sick, and the Trojans certainly missed him. USC allowed 502 yards of offense and only forced one Illini punt.
While the illness and Ramsey’s absence certainly impacted USC, Lincoln Riley was quick to dispel the notion food poisoning was the reason his team lost against Illinois.
