By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: Lincoln Riley has clarified previous comments made about the NCAA transfer portal and its need for “guardrails” to ensure all programs are on the same page with regards to player transfers.
Riley landed the top-ranked transfer class in college football this cycle anchored by former Oklahoma five-star quarterback Caleb Williams and said during an interview on National Signing Day current transfer rules were too open-ended and needed to be fixed.
