The countdown to the 2025 college football season is already underway, as spring practices and position battles for spots on the depth chart for all 136 teams across the nation are already in progress or will be soon throughout offseason workouts.

As always, one of the biggest storylines of any offseason rests with the quarterback position. Whether it’s a new starter, a battle, or a rising star, the bulk of attention in spring ball is always devoted to how the play looks under center.

The next wave of stars at the quarterback position is starting to form this spring, as Florida’s DJ Lagway, Michigan’s Bryce Underwood, Ohio State’s Julian Sayin, and Texas’ Arch Manning headline the biggest rising stars at the position for 2025.
