By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Washington State played big most of the way and the Cougars withstood a second-half flurry from SMU to pull away at the end in a 75-63 second-round NIT win on Sunday in Dallas.
WSU dominated the boards 46-32, including 18-7 on the offensive glass. Michael Flowers led all scorers with 22 but Efe Abogidi was equally huge with 12 points and 8 rebounds, including one monstrous dunk late in the second half.
