By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Washington State’s Kyle Smith said the Cougars should have forward Mouhamed Gueye back for Tuesday’s opening round NIT contest vs. Santa Clara at 8 p.m. in Pullman (TV: ESPNU).

Gueye missed both of the Cougars’ Pac-12 Tournament game with an ankle injury, and his presence was sorely missed in the paint.
