By Robbie Weinstein, 247Sports: NFL Draft week is finally here, and rumors continue to fly like usual. Due to the likelihood that the top five to eight picks are very heavy on quarterbacks, some elite prospects could fall to the back half of the top 10 or even out of it altogether.
For instance, Heisman Trophy-winning wide receiver DeVonta Smith is not considered a lock to go in the top 10. Neither is Oregon left tackle Penei Sewell, who did not play in 2020 but posted elite seasons in 2018 and 2019.
