By James Crepea, The Oregonian/OregonLive: Former Oregon running backs coach Carlos Locklyn’s request for a partial dismissal of the civil suit filed against him by UO for breach of contract was denied and the matter is headed for trial.
Earlier this month, Lane County Circuit Court Judge Michelle Bassi denied Locklyn’s motion for a dismissal of the university’s claim for unjust enrichment. The school is seeking damages of $400,000 from Locklyn for breach of contract, per his buyout for leaving Oregon for Ohio State last spring, and that unjust enrichment is an alternative claim for relief in the matter.
