By Jamey Vinnick, CougFan: Jimmy Rogers remarked immediately after the 59-24 Apple Cup loss on Saturday how Washington State does not have the resources to compete with the $30 million UW is able to spend on its roster. But during his weekly press conference on Monday, Rogers walked back and apologized for the statement, saying that he regretted making it.
“Nobody brought me in here to make excuses about things that we don’t have,” Rogers said.
