By Lars Hanson, Huskies Wire: After losing all seven road games during his first year with the Washington Huskies, Jedd Fisch has turned over every stone to avoid a similar fate for his team in 2025. Fisch leaned into the resources he built up over 13 seasons as an assistant in the NFL and called several West Coast head coaches — Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay likely among those he reached out to having coached under him in 2018-19 — to get their suggestions when it comes to how they organize travel for games in the eastern time zone.
In an interview with 93.3 KJR in Seattle, the second-year Huskies coach stated he compiled roughly 15-18 different schedules from the coaches he spoke with, all to see what the best course of action is that results in more victories for UW.
