By Carter Bahns, 247Sports: Washington swiftly tabbed the next leader of its football program, hiring Jedd Fisch as head coach days after Kalen DeBoer departed to take the same job at Alabama.
The Fisch era began in earnest Tuesday when the Huskies introduced him to the university and media in a press conference.
While the former Arizona coach faces difficult challenges in roster management and must oversee the program’s transition to the Big Ten, the upside is clear.
