By CougFancom: Jabe Mullins curled in a 3-pointer with three seconds remaining to give Washington State a 66-64 win over George Washington at the Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu on Thursday night. Not only did the Cougs win their first close game at the wire this season, they did so without the benefit of a set play.
“I think it’s easier when you come down on a broken play than calling something,” Cougar coach Kyle Smith told Matt Chazanow on the post-game radio show.
