By Clint Buckley, Sun Devil Source: J.J. Watt signed a free agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals this offseason after being granted his request for a release from the Houston Texans. Watt, a three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year, is expected to bring veteran leadership to a locker room full of young superstars.
Watt recently announced plans to honor the memory of former Cardinals safety Pat Tillman, who left the NFL during the prime of his career to serve in the military following the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
