Isaia Vandermade, son of former USC OL Lenny Vandermade, commits to Trojans

By Adam Bradford, USC Trojans on SI: Prior to this week, USC held just two commitments in the class of 2027. On Tuesday, that number increased to three, as the Trojans landed three-star defensive lineman Isaia Vandermade.

Vandermade plays for head coach Carson Palmer at Santa Margarita Catholic High School in Southern California. 247Sports Composite ranks him as the No. 747 overall player and the No. 83 defensive lineman in his class.

However, Palmer is not the only person in Vandermade’s life with USC connections.
