By Zack Pearson, Trojans Wire: When asking an analyst what is needed from a football team midway through the season, one might expect answers which focus on quality of play, sharpness of coaching, improvement in game preparation, development of offensive linemen, clearer communication in the secondary, and so on.
For some teams, those kinds of needs — scheme, play selection, better reads and instincts from players — are secondary to one larger, overarching need: getting key players healthy.
