By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: In 2019, linebacker Drew Fowler chose to stay home and walk on with the Washington Huskies, spurning scholarship offers from UCLA, Louisville, and others to play in the stadium he grew up in.
Fowler remained on Montlake for six seasons, through the COVID-19 pandemic, the lows of 2021’s 4-8 season, and the highs of the national championship after the 2023 campaign.
