247Sports: The Mike Leach era at Mississippi State got off to a strong start with the Bulldogs’ road upset of defending national champion LSU on Sept. 26. The 44-34 win featured a record-setting performance from quarterback KJ Costello.
However, the success did not translate into the following week. Mississippi State suffered a 21-14 loss to Arkansas, which snapped a 20-game losing streak within the SEC for the Razorbacks.
Despite the setback, one Pac-12 coach believes Leach’s Air Raid offense will continue to put up big numbers in the SE
